Specifically, we show that smartphone bookings made by business tourists coming to Barcelona are increasingly popular. The methodology used is first a comprehensive literature review on the topic, media and social networks as a means of tourism promotion and product recommendation. Then, the article goes on with quantitative method that converts the object of study into numerical data, with emphasis on the measurable objective and, therefore, requiring the use of statistics For this study we decided to devise a quantitative questionnaire which is usually the method of data collection by most usual research using this type of method. The multiple choice is an instrument for obtaining data and it is used to gather the information needed: facts, opinions, trends. Data collection was carried out for 4 months (May, June, July and August 2015) with n=1512. We conducted a sieve with inclusion and exclusion criteria and which discarded all participants who did not travel for business. The final sample was 494 participants. We conclude that Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Foursquare social media are the media used by young people and where gender does not influence their use. However, the degree of use of Google+, Linkedin, TripAdvisor and Booking have no significant relationship, taking into account such variables as age and gender.

Keywords: smartphones, emprical, business
2015-12-31T11:05:15+00:00 Copyright (c) 2015 Global Journal of Computer Science http://sproc.org/ojs/index.php/gjcs/article/view/180 Compression internet access methods of Universities in Turkey 2016-01-18T10:39:36+00:00 Mirsat Yeşiltepe [email protected] İrem Yılmaz [email protected] Muhammet Kurulay [email protected]
Which enables a user to specific conditions required by the relevant system that lets users connect to determine if the user is defined is the concept of authentication [1]. The authentication uses is very wide[2][3]. One of these is the use of accessing internet. Only certain users can use the generated web service objective in this area it is. The aim of this study was to compare students and staff in universities in Turkey internet access methods. The data were generated by contacting the university. In this way, universities can not work on which of the authentication methods they use to access the Internet, the use of which for the main purpose of the method of talking about the advantages and disadvantages of the university is to find out better.

Keywords: active directory, authentication, kerberos, XML
2015-12-31T11:05:15+00:00 Copyright (c) 2015 Global Journal of Computer Science http://sproc.org/ojs/index.php/gjcs/article/view/181 Sort of Turkey's top 20 banks by cipher suite value 2016-01-18T10:39:36+00:00 Mirsat Yeşiltepe [email protected] Beyza Yılmaz [email protected] Özge Yeni [email protected] Muhammet Kurulay [email protected]
Today, the main purpose of increasing importance of banks that transfer funds and expanding application areas [1]. As in all areas of the financial sector on security is an important issue. Cloud technology and the increasing importance of security issues in this area is not limited because it is not certain can occur unexpectedly. The aim of this study is located in the ranking of the top 20 banks in Turkey in 2014 [2] is classified according to various criteria. For the establishment of this system, semantic web ontologies, multi-agent systems and big data were used. To have a modular system, pledge of reliability, of speed and potential scalability, multi-agents systems have been used. The agents of the system communicate and collaborate throughout the tendering process to perform tasks such as the generation of tender documents, bids evaluation, contract signature and monitoring of the realization of the contract. The knowledge engineering through the semantic web ontologies was used in order to have a complete semantic description of the shared information and foster good communication between the different agents of the system. Finally, to store and take advantage of structured and unstructured data generated by the different sources of data relating to the governance of public procurement, Big Data technologies were integrated.

The objective of this work is to establish an efficient computer system capable of solving all or part of the problems relating to the award of public contracts.

Keywords: e-procurement, e-tendering, software engineering, big data, multi-agents system, semantic web, ontology, artificial intelligence;
2015-12-31T11:05:15+00:00 Copyright (c) 2015 Global Journal of Computer Science http://sproc.org/ojs/index.php/gjcs/article/view/183 Daily and hourly mood pattern discovery of Turkish twitter users 2016-01-18T10:39:36+00:00 Mete Celik [email protected] Ahmet Sakir Dokuz [email protected]
Massive amount of data-related applications and widespread usage of web technologies has started big data era. Social media data is one of the big data sources. Mining social media data provides useful insights for companies and organizations for developing their services, products or organizations. This study aims to analyze Turkish Twitter users based on daily and hourly social media sharings. By this way, daily and hourly mood patterns of Turkish social media users could be revealed in positive or negative manner. For this purpose, Support Vector Machines (SVM) classification algorithm and Term Frequency – Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) feature selection technique was used. As far as our knowledge, this is the first attempt to analyze people’s all sharings on social media and generate results for temporal-based indicators like macro and micro levels.

Keywords: big data, social media, text classification, svm, tf-idf term weighting, daily and hourly mood patterns.
2015-12-31T11:05:15+00:00 Copyright (c) 2015 Global Journal of Computer Science http://sproc.org/ojs/index.php/gjcs/article/view/986 Nicosia and Palmanova: Images of the city in the digital environment 2016-08-15T09:11:54+00:00 Gokce Kececi [email protected] Gamze Anıl [email protected]
As it is known, the existence of star-shaped cities went back to 16th century. Although these cities include different life forms because of the reason why they were established, at the same time, they share structural similarities. There are nine star-shaped cities in the world and can be found in Italy, Cyprus, Japan, Holland, Canada, Vietnam, Finland and Russia. Because the same architect designed Nicosia and Palmanova in Italy, the study will begin with a broader view on star-shaped cities and compare both. Although the walls were designed for defensive purposes, today, they are protected as a cultural heritage and this is significant for tourism. In this context, this study will analyse the web interface and how both Palmanova and Nicosia use the web, in terms of content, visual aspects, and how these are being used. As the number of users for web pages and blogs are increasing day by day, The reflection of social differences has been researched by examining the Lefkosa-Palmanova examples.

Keywords: star-shaped, city cultural heritage, web page, blog

2016-08-15T09:11:53+00:00 Copyright (c) 2016 Global Journal of Computer Science
